Chameleon Adventure Academy is an outdoor education or adventure learning, training and development company. We are utilising adventure based experiential learning as an educational and teaching medium. We facilitate real life experiences through the strategic use of experiential and adventure activities, contributing to lifelong learning and change for groups and individuals.

We work with wide range of clients, and specific applications for specific groups.  For more information, or an opportunity to work with us on a part-time basis, please contact us. 

We have casual (part time) positions available as Outdoor Education Facilitators from September 2011 - May 2012. A group leader is responsible for delivering/leading outdoor education programs that facilitate education and personal development outcomes in a safe and enjoyable environment. 

Skills required:

  • Has a passion for the environment and the Outdoors? 
  • Cares about education?
  • Loves working with young people?
  • Enjoys variety and challenges?
  • Cares about quality, safety and professionalism in your work?
  • Wants to have a positive influence in society?
  • Has experience in outdoor education or facilitation?
  • Technical skills that is a plus, mountain walking, abseiling, kayaking.
  • Service focus
  • Effective communicator.
  • Enthusiasm / passionate
  • Responsible, ethical behaviour towards minors
